And would be far from safe.
No. there is no way to set the ID string for the terminal. What is a BitSURFR
that it wants a particular Terminal type?
The best you could do is SET TERM TYPE ANSI which does not have an ID string
and then use a script to watch for the request and make the proper response.
The "1" means supports 132 columns. The "2" means supports the printer port.
I have added the "2" to the ID string for the next release. It shouldn't do
any harm.
